Passports
All of the passports are valid for six months as from the date of the application. Passports are required by all the nationals that are referred to in the above chart.
Visas
Visas aren’t required by all of the nationals referred to in the chart above if tourist are staying for only up to 30 days and if they are entering Thailand via an international airport. Tourist will also not need a visa if they are entering Thailand for up to fifteen days and if they are entering by land of a neighbouring country, providing that all the tourist have a valid passport with them as well as sufficient funding and confirmed airline tickets that let tourist leave Thailand within the time allowed on their visa.
Type of visa and cost of the visa
A tourist visa will cost about £28 per entry into Thailand.
A non-immigrant visa will cost £45 for a single entry into Thailand
A non-immigrant visa will cost £100 for double entry into Thailand.
As from 05 March 2009 to 04 June 2009, Thailand has waived its on entry visa fees.
In July 2009 Thailand has suspended the fee for all of the single entry visas.
Validity of each visa
A tourist visa in Thailand will last approximately three months and then six months for more than one entry into the country. A non-immigrant visa on single entry will be valid for approximately three months and a non-immigrant visa for multiple entry will last for up to one year.
Working days required for the visa to arrive
Please allow up to two days for your visa to arrive. Many of the postal applications are normally being processed within 24 hours of arrival. Any visa applications that are made in person will take around 30 minutes.
